Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using iAchieve, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree on your behalf. iAchieve is operated by Starla Digital (Australia). Contact: info@starladigital.net.

2. The service

iAchieve provides an AI-powered tutoring assistant ("Aiden") for students in Years 5–13 across Australia and New Zealand. The platform includes subject tutoring, progress tracking, games, study tools, and a shop for cosmetic companions and backgrounds.

iAchieve is a study aid, not a replacement for professional educational advice. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
• You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• Free plan: 15 questions per week. No credit card required.
• Student plan ($12/month): unlimited questions, all subjects, full progress tracking, and priority AI responses.
• Family plan ($22/month): everything in Student, plus up to 3 student accounts under one family.
• Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled.
• Cancellation: cancel any time from your account settings. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.
• Refunds: if you experience a billing error or technical issue preventing access, contact us within 7 days and we'll make it right.
• All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

5. Shop and virtual items

Sparks (in-app currency) are earned through activity. Shop items (companions, backgrounds, frames) are cosmetic only and have no real-world monetary value. Virtual items are non-refundable and non-transferable. We reserve the right to modify or remove shop items at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use iAchieve to generate harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content.
• Attempt to circumvent question limits or subscription enforcement.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform or its AI responses.
• Use the platform for any purpose other than personal educational use.
• Share your account credentials with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. AI-generated content

Aiden's responses are generated by AI and may occasionally contain errors. Always cross-reference important information with your teacher or official curriculum materials. We do not accept liability for incorrect AI responses used in assessed work.

8. Intellectual property

All content on iAchieve — including the platform design, AI system prompts, and curriculum mapping — is owned by Starla Digital. You retain ownership of content you submit (essays, questions) but grant us a licence to use it to operate and improve the service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, iAchieve is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months prior to any claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of iAchieve after changes constitutes acceptance.
