Terms of Service
Effective date: 1 July 2026 |
Last updated: 1 July 2026 |
Governing law: Queensland, Australia
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and Starla Digital (ABN registered, Queensland, Australia), the operator of iAchieve (“we”, “our”, or “us”), governing your access to and use of the iAchieve website and AI tutoring service at iachieve.com.au (the “Service”).
Please read these Terms carefully before creating an account. By registering, accessing, or using iAchieve, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Accounts for Minors
1.1 General Eligibility
You may use iAchieve if you are an Australian school student in Years 3–12, or a parent/guardian acting on behalf of a student.
1.2 Children Under 13
Parents/Guardians: If your child is under 13 years of age, you must create the account on their behalf and agree to these Terms yourself. By creating an account for a child under 13, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and that you consent to these Terms on the child's behalf.
- Children under 13 must not register independently without parental consent.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child's use of the Service.
- We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts where we suspect a child under 13 has registered without parental consent.
1.3 Students Ages 13–17
Students aged 13–17 may register themselves but are encouraged to do so with parental awareness and supervision. By registering, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.
1.4 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at info@starladigital.net if you believe your account has been compromised.
2. Acceptable Use
2.1 Educational Purpose
iAchieve is an educational tutoring tool designed to help Australian students understand and learn curriculum topics from Year 3 to Year 12. You agree to use the Service solely for legitimate educational and personal learning purposes.
2.2 Prohibited Conduct
You must not use iAchieve to:
- Cheat or engage in academic misconduct — submitting AI-generated answers as your own work in assessments, exams, or assignments where external AI assistance is prohibited by your school or institution.
- Plagiarise — copying AI responses verbatim to present as your original work in academic submissions without proper attribution where required.
- Attempt to circumvent question limits, subscription restrictions, or other service controls.
- Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, offensive, defamatory, illegal, or inappropriate for a school-age audience.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.
- Impersonate another person or create accounts for others without authorisation.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Australian laws or regulations.
Note on Academic Integrity: iAchieve is a learning tool, not a shortcut. We encourage you to use AI responses to understand concepts — not to copy them. Schools and universities have their own academic integrity policies. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with those policies.
3. AI Disclaimer — Important
AI responses are for learning guidance only. The tutoring responses provided by iAchieve are generated by an AI language model (Anthropic Claude) and are intended to help you understand concepts and practise skills.
AI responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. They should not be treated as authoritative, exam-ready, or guaranteed to be correct. Always verify important information with your teacher, textbook, or other authoritative sources.
- iAchieve AI responses are not a substitute for qualified teaching or professional academic advice.
- We do not guarantee that AI responses align perfectly with your school's curriculum, syllabus, or marking criteria.
- Results achieved using iAchieve will vary based on a student's effort, prior knowledge, and individual circumstances.
- We are not responsible for any academic outcome, grade, or assessment result.

- Stripe will automatically charge your nominated payment method each month until you cancel.
- iAchieve does not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.
4.3 Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period for paid plans from time to time. The duration and conditions of any free trial will be stated at sign-up. At the end of the trial, your plan will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

- After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free plan.
- We do not charge cancellation fees.
4.5 Refund Policy
No refunds for partial months. Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has commenced. If you cancel mid-month, you will retain access until the end of that period but will not receive a prorated refund.
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at info@starladigital.net within 14 days of the charge. We will review billing disputes on a case-by-case basis and will work with you to resolve genuine errors.
Our refund policy does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including rights in respect of services not provided or significantly different from what was advertised.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Content
iAchieve, its logo, software, design, and all content we create are owned by or licensed to Starla Digital and are protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
5.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of any questions, notes, or materials you submit through the Service (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and use that content solely to provide the Service to you (e.g. sending your question to the AI for a response).
5.3 AI-Generated Responses
Responses generated by the AI tutor are provided for your personal educational use. You may use them for your own learning, but you must not commercially exploit or republish them. We make no intellectual property claim on AI output beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.
6. Availability and Service Changes
- We aim to provide iAchieve 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance will be communicated where practical.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. Where practical, we will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
- We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
7. Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we reasonably believe you have:
- Violated these Terms or our acceptable use policy
- Provided false or misleading registration information
- Engaged in fraudulent or abusive behaviour
- Used the Service in a manner that could harm us, other users, or third parties
You may delete your own account at any time from within the app. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- iAchieve and Starla Digital are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of viruses.
- In no event shall Starla Digital, its operators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of educational opportunity) arising from your use of or inability to use iAchieve.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater.
Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (Australian Consumer Law). If the ACL applies to you, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having the service re-supplied.
9. Privacy
Your use of iAchieve is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Links to Third-Party Services
iAchieve integrates with or links to third-party services (including Stripe for payments, Firebase for data storage, and Anthropic for AI). These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, and the applicable federal laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of iAchieve shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at info@starladigital.net. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
12. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Starla Digital regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- No Agency: Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, or franchise relationship between you and Starla Digital.
